The intake process
Beginning therapy or yoga can be incredibly overwhelming! Often times the hardest part is getting started, which is why I keep the process simple so it feels more supportive for you! Here is a step-by-step guide for what you can expect to get started:
Create a Client Portal - Here is where you can create your profile and schedule services, like the free consultation call. Click here to create your client portal.
Complimentary Consultation - We will first meet virtually for 15 minutes to discuss your goals for therapy and answer any questions. Think of this as a meet & greet, where you can feel out my vibe and assess whether I may be the right fit for you.
Schedule the Initial Assessment - You can schedule the first session with me after our consultation or on your own through the client portal. I highly recommend downloading the app, Client Portal by Simple Practice, to make signing in easier! (Click here for google play store).
Intake Paperwork - The client portal allows you to read and sign informed consent, complete the intake form, and upload billing information, such as insurance and credit cards. Please be sure to complete all intake forms 24 hours before the Initial Assessment, otherwise your session will be cancelled.
The Initial Assessment - This is our first session where we will review informed consent, complete a biopsychosocial assessment, and receive treatment recommendations specific to your unique circumstances! If you are using OON we will discuss your diagnosis, which may change overtime with progress. You will be provided with a personalized treatment plan after the third session.
Individuals that are only seeking yoga (no therapy) only need to complete steps 1, 3, and 4. For step 3, schedule the service of your choice. Please be sure to complete all intake forms 24 hours in advance, otherwise your session will be cancelled.
